Instant Buy Fees
Buy or sell over 300 cryptocurrencies with a credit card or a debit card through Huobi's Quick Buy/Sell service.
This is the easiest way to buy crypto, but isn't the cheapest. You'll pay fees to Huobi and to all other third parties involved in the transaction. This includes your card company (Visa or Mastercard) and bank.
On Huobi, these fees depend on whether you use a debit or credit card, Visa or Mastercard, and where you live. If you use a Visa debit card and live in the EEA, the UK or Gibraltar, you'll pay a 1.52% spread and a 0.75 flat fee, in your currency. If you use a Mastercard credit card and live elsewhere, you'll pay a 3.15% spread and a 0.75 flat fee.
We've listed these fees below to help you make an informed decision.
|Platform fees||0.3% + 0.75 in your currency.||Up to 3.5% or USD 10, whichever is higher.|
|Visa or Mastercard fees||Visa: 0.02% if you live in the EEA, UK or Gibraltar, and 0.40% otherwise. Mastercard: 0.04% if you live in the EEA, UK or Gibraltar, and 0.45% otherwise.||NA|
|Digital wallet fees||1%||NA|
|Bank fees (interchange fees)||Debit card: 0.20% if you live in the EEA, UK or Gibraltar, and 1.40% otherwise. Credit card: 0.30% if you live in the EEA, UK or Gibraltar, and 1.40% otherwise.||NA|
Huobi's trading fees are low and on par with that charged by other large exchanges, such as Binance and BTSE.
Huobi trading fees follow a tiered structure, whether you are trading cryptocurrency or futures. The more you trade, the lower your fees. You can reduce spot trading fees further by buying and holding HT (Huobi Token). For simplicity, the fees shown on this page are entry-level fees.
Like most exchanges, Huobi differentiates between "maker" and "taker" fees. Taker fees apply when your order takes liquidity away from the market, as is the case with market orders. Maker fees apply when your order adds liquidity, as is the case with limit orders. Most exchanges set maker fees lower to increase liquidity on their platform.
Margin Trading Fees
Trade cryptocurrency on margin with a flat borrowing rate. Further discounts are available when you hold Huobi's token.
When you trade on margin, Huobi will charge you interest on the amount borrowed. Its daily loan rate is a flat 0.098%, across all cryptocurrencies. Interest is calculated by the hour, only on the amount borrowed. Discounts are available to those who buy and hold HT, its token. For simplicity, the loan rate shown below excludes any such discounts.
To help you compare margin trading fees across exchanges, we’ve converted their fees into daily equivalent rates. As Huobi updates its loan rate every now and then, please visit Huobi.com for the most up-to-date information.
At present, Huobi P2P is free for buyers and sellers.
Huobi P2P is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of cryptocurrency. Create an account to search and filter sellers by fiat currency, cryptocurrency and payment method.
At present, Huobi is free for buyers and sellers alike. However, this doesn't mean you'll necessarily get the best price. As prices can vary by a wide margin across sellers, it's always a good idea to compare prices across P2P platforms, such as Binance P2P, Paxful or LocalBitcoins.
